Almost Lover

Hey you, I'm sorry but I have to do this. I've never been good at expressing myself, but I know I can share more of me by writing this. And I can't let that last conversation we had be our last. So I might as well make this "farewell letter" a memorable one.

You have the kind of smile that can make anyone feel special. Maybe that's why a lot of girls had a crush on you huh? Hahaha. Argh, I hate it. I want you to smile just for me. But booooo who am I kidding?

Remember the time you saw me crying? Do you remember what you said?

We both knew it would end this way, but still I dreamed dreams of doing things with you, of seeing places, of discovering things together, planning my future with you. I've never experienced anything truer than your care, your love, and our connection with each other. I cry for what is, what was and what could have been.

And even if you were only in my life a brief moment, you always tell me how I saved you from your but in fact Raffy, you never knew it but you're actually the one who saved me Raff.

I've been dying to talk to you since our last conversation, To this day when I have good or bad news I go to call you, but then I realize, I can’t. I guess you're avoiding me now and thought to myself this is for the better. It's been hard for me, I'm sure it's been hard for you too.

I hope you never change. I swear I wished this moment would never end. I wished this would go on forever, just you and me, under the night sky, dancing and skipping around, smiling at each other. Maybe in some parallel universe you are still mine.

As I write this, I can hear

Back in Action

Hey you!

Woah, it's been 3 years since my last update in this blog which I never shared to anyone but still got views because of the anime and kdrama reviews I made when I had a lot of "free time". Ahh those were the days! I wish we can turn back time. But no...there's no going back.

I've had my fair share of struggles in life just like anyone else. From my family, to friends, career, love and heartbreaks. It's been one hell of a roller coaster ride especially my 2016-2017. It was a disaster. I think that was the lowest point of my life so far because that was when I lost myself for loving someone too much. I kept my problems to myself, I never tell anyone about it because I didn't want anyone to worry about me. I was at that point when my friends would invite me to hang out and I always reject it because of my fear since they're always telling me "Hey what's wrong? Why are you so thin? Are you okay? Are you even eating?! It looks like stress is consuming you" Ugh, so to save myself from those comments, I would rather stay at home and avoid it!

My Top 10 Korean Drama

Top 1:
W Two Worlds

Even though I love Lee Dong Wook, this drama goes to the top of my list because I just love everything about it! Being a girl who grew up reading mangas and having romantic fantasies with cartoon characters makes me relate so much to this!! Plus, they're talking about webtoons, wacom tablet and illustrators! ♥ I love the storyline, the intensity of the drama, the "kilig" scenes of the leading characters.

Lee Jong Suk and Han Hyo Joo's chemistry is so unique. I keep on watching their behind the scene footage and photo shoot because I can't get over these two couple. They even kissed multiple times in one series and they show the best kissing scene ever!!! They're officially my OTP!!

Top 2:
Goblin

Alright, Goblin has taken the Kdrama world over like storm! Amazing concept, story line and setting, AWESOME CINEMATOGRAPHY (all caps para intense), I love the official soundtrack, plus, LEE DONG WOOK OPPA is the HOTTEST GRIM REAPER EVER. I just can't. The story is so beautiful and sad. Everything is made perfectly. Though I'm not really into Gong Yoo and Kim Go Eun's chemistry. Eun Tak is adorable, but she is too childish for Kim Shin. No kilig factor at all so I was just rooting for the Queen & Grim Reaper's sad love story and his bromance with Kim Shin all throughout the series.

Top 3:
My Love from the Star

Jun Ji Hyun as Cheong Song Yi is the perfect actress for this role. Kim So Hyun was right all along that she is the only one who can do justice to Cheong Song Yi. She is the the coolest, prettiest, silliest and "palaban" female lead! So full of confidence and her arrogance is not annoying at all! She's such an enjoyable character you cannot resist! As for the male lead, Do Min Joon is such a cutie and his puppy eyes never fails to melt you. But his role is kinda boring (well I guess living in the world for a long time makes you a boring person? LOL) But paired with Cheong Song Yi, they make a perfect combination. Opposite attracts indeed. I really like this drama. I cried, laughed and empathized with Cheong Song Yi (especially the stages of moving on scene). Hihi

Top 4:
My Girl
My Girl is the very first Kdrama I've watched (circa 2006) and that my friend was the start of my crush towards Wookie Oppa~ I still have a copy of this series in my hard drive and watch it from time to time because this drama gave my teenage heart so many feels and my hairstyle was influenced by Joo Yoo Rin's back in high school to show how much I loved it. So if you haven't watched this yet, then what are you waiting for?! You may not like it first because the quality is not as good as the present dramas. But I promise you won't regret it!

Top 5:
Cunning Single Lady
Cunning Single Lady is so realistic because it talks about divorced couple trying to get revenge towards each other because of their failed marriage. This also gave me many feels even though I'm not yet married. But I feel like it's giving me a lesson that marriage is so much more than just living together, having a baby, etc. You have to make a lot of sacrifices and a lot of difficulties will try to question yourself, "Did I marry the right person?" you know? Something like that.. Hihi. This is a fun drama to watch so please don't forget to add this to your watchlist!! ;)

Top 6:
My Girlfriend is a Gumiho
Nomu nomu nomu nomu chua!! ♥ Ahhh, Shi Min Ah is sooooo freaking adorable.

Top 7:
Hotel King

Top 8:
Master's Sun

Top 9:
Legend of the Blue Sea

Top 10:
Weightlifting Fairy Kim Book Joo

AsiaTorrent's 10 Year Anniversary! (June 03 2015)

Last week, I went to AsiaTorrents to check on my seed bonus and saw this on the front page:

AsiaTorrent's 10 Year Anniversary!
(June 03 2015)

Free-leech on all torrents till 17 June 2015 (13:00 GMT)

Thank you for being with us and making this the largest Asian Torrent Site!

And I was like...OH MY GOD!!!!!! FREE LEECH ON ALL TORRENTS!! What a treat!! So I started downloading like a mad woman (good luck with our internet bandwidth lol) Been a member since 2013 and to be honest, its a little tricky for me to maintain my ratio in order to keep my membership (i rely on Seed Bonus a lot) So seeing this makes me so damn happy because I can finally download what I want to watch & shows that had no leechers (because it cannot help me with my upload ratio) LOL. Enough with the ratio stuff! Its just that I'm so happy ~ thanks once again Asiantorrent!

Want to be part of Asiantorrent? :) Visit Asiatorrents.
I'll update this thread once I found the article / blog post I saw before about maintaining your ratio.

Anime/Manga: Fruits Basket

This was the first official anime I ever watched. Circa 2007. Official because I knew that this was an anime, not your normal cartoon. Well, I used to watch Pokemon, Card captor Sakura, Samurai X, Sailor Moon, etc. but had no idea that I was watching an Anime already!

Anyway, let's talk about Fruits Basket! I bought a DVD copy of this with English Dub. But since I only bought the copy @ 888 Chinatown, some episodes were missing, so I searched for an anime streaming websites (I've forgotten the exact website but let me share a different one: Animestream) so that I can continue where I began, and watched it again in Japanese Language w/ English Sub realizing that watching Anime is 100x better in Japanese language than in English.

The anime was very child friendly (if you know what I mean) and I used to like Yuki for Tohru as a child but after five years have passed, I started reading the manga (but this is not the first manga I've read) and totally shipped Tohru and Kyo!! And this picture below here is perfect!! Reading the manga made it clearer why they keep on turning into zodiac animals etc. But the downside for this is my childhood ship between Tohru and Yuki sank because *SPOILER ALERT* (LOL i need to do that though) ... because he sees her as a mother figure. (MOTHERZONE haha, not friendzone)

I think this is a very good anime/manga.
Story is definitely 10/10.
Art uhmm 9/10
(How dare I rate it 9 I'm not even
good at Drawing!! Oh well,
for the sake of this review then)
Characters 10/10

I recommend you to watch the Anime first so that you won't have high expectations and if you want to see a closure of the story after watching it, that's the time you read the manga.

Korean Drama: Cunning Single Lady
